Your vehicle’s air-conditioner not working is because of a bad compressor or a freon leak. While these are the easy to spot reasons that your air-conditioner isn’t working in the vehicle, a dirty cabin filter or a bad compressor belt may also be the culprit. The AC system is powered by the engine, meaning your air-conditioning won’t be getting any power if your vehicle is in EV mode and the engine isn’t running.

Fuses protect components of a car from a possible power surge and even though it might just need to be replaced, however, if your air-conditioning fuse keeps popping then you likely have a much larger problem.
